Join skilled storytellers for a cup of coffee and candid conversation that entertains, educates, and encourages a sense of wonder about science and the natural world around us. This speaker series hosts guest lecturers and light refreshments.

What is that large black bug with the orange wings?" "I saw this pretty little bird the other day..." "Are there rattlesnakes here?” If you are new to the Valley and know little about the Sonoran Desert and its natural inhabitants, this program might be for you. Discover some of the common creatures that might call your yard home and learn ways to coexist with them.
Brought to you by Chandler Nature Center and Chandler Library, The Nature of Things is a conversation series featuring contemporary topics in science, conservation, and the natural world around us. If you are interested in local ecosystems, as well as Arizona's cultural and natural heritage, this speaker series is for you!
