Description
When a loved one or friend struggles with memory loss, it can be difficult to field the same question over and over again, or to have the patience needed to get through a task or conversation. This Dementia Friends session will help answer these problems, and more. You will also learn about the disease of dementia and how it affects the person suffering from it.
Developed by the Alzheimer's Society in the UK, The Dementia Friends initiative is a global movement that is changing the way people think, act, and talk about dementia. This class includes a free lunch sponsored by Riley Crossing Senior Living, and is hosted by Senior Community Services and the Chanhassen Senior Center.Location
