Description

Welcome all homeschool families! Join other homeschoolers to experience a naturalist-led field trip at McKinley Woods – Kerry Sheridan Grove. Discover how seasonal changes, or phenology, impact how animals evolve over time. Through this program, students will understand the methods and adaptations animals use to survive winter.

Ages 11-18 years old. Please note this is not a drop-off program; adults or chaperones do not need to register but must be present for the program.

This is an inclusive field trip, welcoming individuals of all abilities. Hikes will be up to 1 mile over paved and natural surface terrain.
