This is an advanced training and qualification program designed for a person having the responsibilities of a senior level, or executive position, normally that of a chief officer with significant leadership responsibilities for an organization. The Fire Officer III may also be referred to as Senior Officer. This course is designed to cover all elements of the NFPA 1021 Officer standard. Building on training from Fire Officer II, the following topics are covered: Human Resources Management, Personal & Professional Development, working with the Community, Strategic Planning, Budget & Finance Issues, Communications, Intergovernmental Relations, Training Development, Managing Code Enforcement Process, Emergency Management & Response Planning, and Legal Issues Pre-Requisites: Fire Officer II and ICS-300 Full Schedule: Thursdays 08:00 - 17:00 10/2/2025 10/9/2025 10/16/2025 10/23/2025 10/30/2025
