Description

The TCCA will be hosting a curling skills development class focused on take outs. This class will cover the fundamentals of throwing take out weight, such as setup in the hack, leg drive and momentum, and release. It will also review different hit weights and the strategy behind each weight call, as well as going over hog to hog timing. Team Sinnett, lead by Connor Kauffman, will be doing the instruction. Team Sinnett is a Twin Cities-based National curling team that finished 4th in the 2025 Men's Nationals and are ranked 38th on the World Curling Tour.
This class is ideal for curlers with a minimum of 1 year experience and will include 120 minutes of group and individual instruction. Cost is $50 per curler.
