Experience the World of Healthcare! Join us for a hands-on exploration of diverse careers in healthcare at McLaren Hospital in Cheboygan! Students will get a behind-the-scenes look at medical professions, learning from industry experts while engaging in real-world activities. • Pre-Hospital & Emergency Care – Tour an ambulance, explore careers in EMS, and meet first responders. • Surgical & Post-Care Units – Visit the operating room, learn about post-surgical care, and experience the procedure for donning and doffing scrubs. • Therapy & Rehabilitation – Discover the role of physical therapy, cardiac rehab, and occupational therapy in patient recovery. • Medical Labs & Diagnostics – Work with lab technicians to explore medical conditions under a microscope and visit radiology to see how imaging supports patient care. • Pharmacy & Medication Prep – Learn how pharmacists prepare, dispense, and compound sterile medications. • Behavioral Health & Community Support – Discuss mental health services and their impact on our community.
