Unleash your creativity while exploring gel plate printing, a fun and unique monoprinting method that produces beautiful, one-of-a-kind prints on a flexible gelatin plate. This technique involves stenciling, stamping, masking, layering, and mark-making to add color, texture, and design to paper. You will also learn how to assemble your artwork into charming mini journals and explosion books. The workshop includes a range of techniques, from beginner to advanced gel plate printing, as well as ideas for transforming your prints into projects. A variety of supplies, such as printmaking papers, newsprint, gel plates, mediums, inks, etc. are provided. A materials fee of $20 is payable to the instructor on the first day.
