Description
Experience the nature and history of Point of Rocks by traversing the trail from the park and descending to view the Ashton Creek Marsh. Along the way view period fortifications and remnants of a causeway that was built to transport supplies prior to the Civil War.
Finally you'll discover the history of Historic Point of Rocks by walking out to the bluff of the Appomattox and learn about the unique history of the site.
Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.
