This is the first part of a two-semester course designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in dental assisting. Students will learn to perform the work of an assistant in a modern practice, while functioning within the guidelines and regulations in the Dental Practice Act of Virginia. High school diploma or equivalency required. Students must furnish safety glasses.
