Description
During this insightful presentation discover the life and legacy of the Right and Honorable Philip Dormer Stanhope, 4th Earl of Chesterfield, portrayed by historical interpreter Mr. George Borden.
Lord Chesterfield was designated with the honor of Knight of the Garter, a member of the Privy Council, and noted 18th century British aristocrat, statesman, diplomat, and a man of letters. In May 1749, the newly created Chesterfield County in the colony of Virginia was named in his honor.
