Description
Cover crops are grown primarily to improve and protect the soil. They can address specific soil problems, like compaction or erosion, or be used for general soil system enrichment. Combined with regenerative management (like compost and crop rotation), they often serve as a natural alternative to synthetic fertilizer and pesticides.
