Mandatory Orientation Tuesday, September 30th at 9:30 a.m. at CTC @ Courthouse (there will not be a make up session)
This session is for in-person GED classes in English.
Your will enter class in-person the week of October 8th.
You will discuss your options with staff at orientation and be placed in the appropriate classes.
The GED is a set of four exams, when you pass all four exams, you've earned a GED Credential. Learn more at GED.com.
Math: Prepare for the GED Math Exam - Meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Solve everyday problems using numbers, graphs and charts, basic operations, central tendency, decimals, fractions, percents and ratios. Use measurement, probability, equations, expressions, algebra, geometry, functions and patterns to represent data and relationships.
Critical Thinking: Prepare for the GED Reasoning Through Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies Exams - Meets on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Explore themes in history and science and discuss their application to current events. Learn to evaluate arguments, practice the rules of written English, and learn how to write in a formal, organized style.
