Description
The Junior Giants program is a San Francisco Giants Community Fund and CARD partnership. We can continue running this fantastic FREE program if we get enough volunteers. Please complete the below steps if you have any baseball experience or coaching experience (any sport) or are organized and efficient. We are currently looking to fill 3 roles for each team: Head Coach (has baseball or coaching experience), Assistant Coach (has baseball or coaching experience OR has worked with kids before), and Team Parent (is organized and efficient, no experience needed). Volunteers typically only spend 3 hours weekly on Junior Giants during the season.
More information will be emailed to you once you complete the Volunteer registration.
Registration is required for each season you volunteer.
All volunteers are required to clear a livescan background check with CARD. If you are a new Volunteer to CARD and need to do a livescan, CLICK HERE to set up an appointment. You can find the Live Scan clearance guidelines HERE.
Volunteers Coaches must be at least 18 years old.
