Armed Guards in Alabama are mandated to complete a comprehensive training program consisting of 14 hours of instruction, which is essential for ensuring their preparedness and effectiveness in the field. This rigorous training encompasses a variety of critical topics, including legal responsibilities, conflict resolution, emergency response protocols, and the safe handling and operation of firearms. Additionally, candidates must successfully qualify with their service weapon, demonstrating proficiency and accuracy to meet state standards.
