A presentation in observance of National Minority Mental Health Awareness month. Ghonva Ghauri, BA/MA, discusses how unique cultural experiences impact the mental health of different communities of color, including generational trauma, racial trauma, and cultural stigma. Also included are tools for participants to navigate challenges and culturally relevant practices for supporting emotional wellness. Ghonva is currently a Doctoral student in Counseling at George Washington University.
