Description

Get out in nature with a series of hikes across the county. Individuals usingwheelchairs are welcome. We provide All Terrain- GRIT Freedom Chairwheelchairs that can be self-propelled or assisted by our team. While theadventure goes over some hills, small rocks and roots, it is easy for thebeginner hiker. Hikes are at an easy pace with modular distances for yourcomfort level. Water and appropriate footwear (sneakers or boots) arerequired. Detailed information and hike previews are sent to registrantsbefore the first hike. Hikes occur on the second Wednesday of each month(9/10, 10/8, 11/12). Goals: Increase level of endurance, leisure awareness,and socialization. For inclement weather information please call 410-313-4451. Fee is inclusive of activities other than dining. Please do not arrive at programs more than five minutes before the start of the program. Be ready to leave as soon as the program is over. Supervision is not provided before the scheduled start time. Excessive early drop-offs and late pick-ups may result in being dropped from the program.
