Twentieth-century Mexican Artist Frida Kahlo continues to fascinate with her arresting gaze, signature fashion, and trailblazing legacy. The exhibition showcases many of her most important paintings and drawings from the beginning of her career in 1926 until her death in 1954. The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts opened in 1936 and is one of the largest museums in the United States. Enjoy viewing 5,000 years of art from around the world.
