Class Description: Each 8-week session will have a different focus. Classes cover the foundations of working with book board, card stock, and paper to bind journals, photo albums, and construct boxes. Related techniques include how to make book cloth, paste paper, painted paper, and collage. Beginners are welcome to sign up at any time.
Session 5 Objectives: Box Making · Construct boxes for jewelry, small tools, photos, and other keepsakes. · Boxes are made of book board and covered with decorative paper and book cloth. · Ribbons, beads, and magnetic closures.
Materials instructor provides book board, book cloth, weights, PVA, decorative paper, ribbon.
