Dive deep into the world of color with this watercolor class, designed to empower you with a comprehensive understanding of color theory, enabling you to confidently mix vibrant palettes and create harmonious compositions through hands-on exercises, exploring the color wheel, primary and secondary colors, complementary and analogous color schemes, while applying these principles to your watercolor paintings, regardless of your skill level *bring own supplies* Obtain a leisure card from the front desk. Watercolor Palette: A set of 12-24 colors (preferably semi-moist potted or tubes). - Primary colors: Red, Blue, Yellow. - Secondary colors: Green, Orange, Purple. - Additional colors: Burnt Sienna, Ultramarine Blue, Yellow Ochre, etc. Watercolor Paper1. Watercolor Paper: 140 lb (300 gsm) cold-pressed. - Suggested size: A5 size or 9x12 inches or larger. Brushes 1. Round Brush**: Size 6 or 8 – for detailed work and fine lines.2. Flat Brush**: Size 1” – for washes and broad strokes.3. Filbert Brush**: Size 8 – versatile for soft edges and blending.4. Rigger Brush (A "rigger brush" is also called a "liner" or "script" brush. Its tuft is longer than usual so it can hold more paint and water at once.): Size 00 or 1 – for fine lines and detail work.5. Mop Brush: Size medium – for large washes and soft blending.6. Fan Brush: Size medium – for creating texture, foliage, and special effects. Additional Tools1. Palette: For mixing colors (white or clear surfaces are best).2. Water Container: For rinsing brushes.3. Paper Towels: For blotting and cleanup.4. Masking Tape: To secure paper and create clean edges.5. Pencil: For sketching before painting.6.
