This ceramic program is for adults.
We ask that participants not bring their children to class.
This is an all level ceramics class. In this class students will be taught the skills necessary to make ceramic goods, either functional or decorative. Lessons in many techniques in hand-building pottery and sculpture will be provided, as well as optional guidance in throwing on the wheel. Clay and tools are provided with class fee. Participants should bring their own aprons to protect their clothing and a thin piece of plastic such as a disposable tablecloth or drop cloth to cover their projects.
Please note that Schiller Ceramics Studio has 5 pottery wheels and participants are not guaranteed wheel time each class.
Clay can be purchased from the Schiller front desk on the first day of class. Prices vary based on type of clay. Sold in 12.5 increments only. Basic hand tools are provided.Only clay provided by or sold at the Schiller desk is permitted.
