Description

.This class is for participants who have completed the Introduction to Ceramics class (or for those who have previous experience in ceramics). Participants will have the opportunity to learn more advanced forming techniques such as throwing on the pottery wheel, surface decoration with graffito, stencils and more. Pieces will be fired and glazed. Participants will need to provide their own apron and towels for clean up.
Clay can be purchased from the FRC front desk on the first day of class. Prices vary based on type of clay. Sold in 12.5 increments only. Additional clay can be purchased from the FRC front desk as you need it throughout the session. Basic hand tools are provided. Due to popularity of classes, kiln space, and storage, production work is not permitted glazed and unfinished pieces must be picked up by the last day of class.
Only clay provided by or sold at the FRC front desk is permitted.

The Participant hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Columbus if the Participant violates the rules and regulations or the law.
