Description

Open studio is for current Fran Ryan ceramics participants and provides our ceramics participants with the opportunity to sign up for additional studio time. Participants must provide their own apron and towel for clean up, and must purchase their own clay. Pieces will be fired by trained staff. Storage is limited, projects finished or unfinished must be picked up by the end of the session. This class is not suitable for production work.

Clay can be purchased from the FRC front desk on the first day of class. Prices vary based on type of clay. Sold in 12.5 increments only. Basic hand tools are provided.
Only clay provided by or sold at the FRC front desk is permitted.

The Participant hereby agrees that the use of Recreation & Parks Department facilities and equipment shall be at the exclusive risk of the Participant and his/her guests or agents. The Participant further agrees to indemnify and save harmless the City of Columbus from any and all claims, suits, loss, damage, or injury to persons or property of any kind or nature whatsoever to the Participant and his/her guests or agents as a result of, or activities engaged in the facilities, or use of equipment. The Participant hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Columbus if the Participant violates the rules and regulations or the law.
