Due 1st class - Lab Fee $20.00This class is a collaboration of botanical printing and integrating/upcycling the cloth into clothing and household textiles. The first 4 weeks focuses on learning methods of botanical printing with Grace, and producing cloth that can be applied to existing clothing. During the second 4 weeks Linda will help each student integrate their printed botanical cloth into a jacket, denims, shirt, wall hanging, etc.; Basic sewing and simple stitching is all that is necessary to participate. The result will be a unique garment or wall hanging with a beautiful botanical print. Sewing machines are available at the center but participants may choose to focus on hand sewing. The ability to use a sewing machine is not required.
