Description

Open Studio in the sewing/textile arts room! Bring your project or start a new one whether it is :sewing ,beading, embellishing, stenciling, painting on your own clothing or creating textile art mixed media pieces. This is a self - directed open studio, with instructor support for assistance with materials, techniques or design questions but you should be coming in with the basic knowledge and skills for the project you bring, just needing use of the studio, machines, and possibly some basic advisement.

Bring your own materials for your project. Sewing machines, fabric paint, glue guns, modpodge, scissors, and thread provided and we have many donated fabrics, trinkets and beads for free use in textile arts projects.

The Participant hereby agrees that the use of Recreation & Parks Department facilities and equipment shall be at the exclusive risk of the Participant and his/her guests or agents. The Participant further agrees to indemnify and save harmless the City of Columbus from any and all claims, suits, loss, damage, or injury to persons or property of any kind or nature whatsoever to the Participant and his/her guests or agents as a result of, or activities engaged in the facilities, or use of equipment. The Participant hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Columbus if the Participant violates the rules and regulations or the law.
