Description
Description of Program: This Balance Class is designed to help senior adults (and other interested adults) improve their functional balance and prevent falls. Fall prevention is key to maintaining independence and improving quality of life as we age. In this class, you’ll learn exercises that target and strengthen the three key systems of balance—sensory, motor, and cognitive. Through a series of progressive, easy-to-follow exercises, participants will work on enhancing balance, muscle strength, flexibility, and mobility. These exercises are designed to challenge participants in a fun, supportive environment, all while improving coordination and stability. By the end of the program, you’ll feel more confident on your feet, experience improved physical health, and be better equipped to navigate daily activities with greater ease and safety.
