Description

The three sons of William Penn, Quaker founder of Pennsylvania, became the proprietors of the colony in the 18th century. This program covers Franklin’s conflict with them during and after the French & Indian War, 1754 – 1763; and his efforts to get England to abrogate the Penns’ proprietorship and make Pennsylvania a British royal colony.
