Description

Interested in fashion design and style? Acquire new skills while creating your own sustainable designs. You will learn basic sewing machine skills, embroidery, hand sewing, embellishing with beads, rhinestones and sequins, fabric painting and more. Transform second hand clothing by adding your designs to garments, turning pants into purses, making unique jewelry and more. For returning students, each session you will work on a new project and learn new upcycling skills. Students will be encouraged to create their own design vision and develop their creative voice. Materials and garments will be supplied, and students are encouraged to bring in second hand clothing to upcycle.
