This class is for children aged 6 months to 3 years who have little or no water experience and require flotation support at all times. Parent will be in the water with their child at all times to teach them how to enter and exit the pool safely, submerge, float on their front and back with support and begin exploring kicking with arm action. Children will also experience wearing a lifejacket while parents will learn about general water safety, calling for help and the importance of knowing CPR and first aid. (30 minutes) There are no prerequisites for this course. Children who are not toilet trained MUST wear non-disposable swim diapers. No exceptions. We sell them for $6.00 at the Aquatics office.
