Description

Discover the joy and benefits of movement in a welcoming, creative space for adults of all ages and abilities, including caregivers, veterans, and older adults. Led by professional dancers from Orange County’s award-winning Backhausdance, this 8-week workshop series supports mobility, memory, social connection, expression, and healthy aging. No dance experience needed. You can move from a chair, with a partner, or standing freely. The series culminates in a celebratory participant showcase performance and a special Backhausdance company performance.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring water.
On November 24, the culminating participant showcase performance will be from 9:45am to 10:15am with a warm-up session beginning at 9:30am. A Backhausdance company performance of The Planets choreographed by Jennifer Backhaus and set to music by Gustav Holst, will be from 10:30am to 11:00am. This event is open to friends, families and the community.
