Description

Get first hand experience on hour District staff and volunteers collect seed to use for current project across the county. A couple hours of your time spent collecting seed on District sites this fall can make a real difference! We'll focus on collecting seeds from 1-2 native plants. The seeds collected will be used to restore District sites. All are welcome, no experience needed for this! Anyone above the age of 6 is welcome (children ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult family members). All activities are on and off trail and on possible uneven ground. Bring bug spray, sunscreen, and water. Recommended long pants, long sleeves, sturdy shoes, and check yourself for ticks afterward.
