The Yellowjackets 10U Squirt Minor team (2016 birth year) and Major team (2015 birth year) will be competing in the Central States Development Hockey League (CSDHL). At the direction of the Hockey Director, the CSDHL team will be made through an evaluation selection committee during tryouts. Highest rated 2015 and 2016s players will make the CSDHL major and minor teams respectively. 2015 and 2016 players not selected will automatically be placed into the pool of players selected for CSDHL Prospects Division teams. Individual player ice time is at the discretion of the coaching staff and will be decided with the ultimate goal of improving both YJ player and team development. CSDHL Major and Minor teams can expect to be on the ice 3 to 5 times per week and include off ice workouts and skills sessions with professional coaches. Tryouts are at the Middle of August, with practices and games beginning in September, and ending in February.
