Description

Open Studio Wheel Throwing: Designed for students with experience inceramics. Beginning wheel throwers are encouraged to sign up for theinstructed wheel throwing class offered that will give them basic wheelthrowing skills (i.e. how to throw a bowl/cylinder) to advance to the OpenStudio. This class is for continuing students who want to work on theirown creative projects and refine their skills as well as those who wantmore practice time. Guidance and coaching will be provided andexploration of new throwing and glazing techniques will be encouraged.
Open Studio Hand Building: A multi-level shared environment classwhich includes beginner to advanced students. Projects range fromsimple plates, mugs, and bowls to whatever artistic creation studentsdream up from their own creativity. Beginners are welcome and will begiven instruction to learn hand building techniques in this looselystructured class.A $30.00 materials fee is due the first day of class and will cover yourfirst bag of clay, glazes, and other materials required.*This class will have 10 sessions and includes a final met up potluck onSaturday, December 20th to pick up final pieces and meet students fromthe other classes.
