Mat work - the foundation of the Pilates method - is a strengthening and lengthening form of exercise that focuses on your core muscles while also training your arms and legs. Mat work is a great choice for all levels of Pilates practitioners because the exercises can be modified to decrease or increase the level of challenge - and it’s a great workout!
