About this event
Improve your chess strategy with Bob Salvas and Eduardo Paguaga, members of the United States Chess Federation, official USCF Tournament Directors and chess instructors for over 20 years each! Students who have not yet participated in the OCYL program should attend the NOVICE and will move to the next levels based upon instructor assessment. NOVICE class: This class is designed to teach the official rules and strategies of the game to those who have only a very basic knowledge of chess. For ages 6-8, students should have a basic understanding of how the pieces move in order to participate.
