Bring your bike for a heated-indoor competition held at the Bike Rack Performance Center. Races begin every 30 minutes, and prizes for age-category winners include free Computrainer classes, gift cards and cash prizes. The fastest overall finisher will receive an additional $50 prize.
This event, now in its fourth year, is a four-hour cycle-thon with entertaining ride leaders, music, raffles and more. It is a BYOBaT event (Bring Your Own Bike and Trainer). More than $7,500 was raised for a local food pantry in 2013.
Spending time alone on the indoor trainer can be boring. Why not try this group-training session, geared specifically for distance cyclists? You'll work on building quality efforts for 90 minutes that simulate what you'd experience in a race. It's the perfect way to begin training for next year's season.
This unique event matches up teams of two against each other in a head-to-head showdown using Computrainer software. The course is 12.48 miles and has an average finishing time of 33 minutes.
This beginner-friendly event is the perfect way to combine a functional on-the-bike workout with winter cross training. A 10-minute ride on a stationary bike is followed by a 20-minute treadmill run before finishing with another 10-minute effort on the bike.
