9K Cyclists Take on Women's 100 Event

Written by
Women all over the world were riding their road bikes July 26, 2015. But around 9,000 of these were women who signed up for Rapha's Women's 100 event, which promotes women's cycling with an annual ride of 100K. There were more than 333 organized rides around the globe. "For many women, this was the longest and hardest ride they've ever completed," says Sophie Ballo, North American marketing manager for Rapha. The event grew from 8,000 women who signed up last year. Rapha's already gearing up for its Braver than the Elements event Dec. 20, 2015. "The bonds that are made while training for rides such as these are integral to the experience of cycling," Ballo says.
