The separate CPR/AED module is required for full certification. Emphasis on life-threatening conditions and focus on critical life-saving skills. Decision tables provide a concise summary of what signs to look for and what treatment steps to take during an emergency. New and updated content on epinephrine injectors (Epi-Pen®), hemorrhage control, opioid overdose response (Naloxone/Narcan®), and COVID-19. Students must attend both evenings to receive certification. Andrew Eckman recently retired after 45 years in emergency services (police, fire, EMS and emergency management).
