Upon successful completion the student will receive a new AHA provider card valid for 2 years. Note: Participants are required to have proof of a current or recently expired BLS provider card from the American Heart Association (AHA) to qualify for the renewal session. PART 1 (online, must be completed before Part 2) 1. Visit www.onlineaha.org. a) Select BLS from the Courses menu. b) Select HeartCode® BLS. c) Login or Register (first time user). 2. Purchase and complete online course. 3. Print certificate of completion. PART 2 (skills practice & testing) 1. Complete Part 1 and print the certificate of completion. 2. Register for Part 2 by clicking "Add to Cart" and completing purchase. 3. On session day, bring your certificate of completion from Part 1. Note the specific class start time; it is suggested that you arrive around 15 minutes early. Class starts promptly at the given time and late students will not be allowed in once class has started. No book is required.
