Description

Intarsia is a mosaic of wood fitted and glued together onto a wooden support. Led by woodcarver Chuck Laurence, this class includes a discussion of the intarsia process from the selection of a pattern, types of wood, the cutting out of the wood, glueing, and finishing the completed project. In addition, the student will create an intarsia angel from the materials provided. An N95 dust mask is required to wear during wood sanding.
