Description
Master carver and artist Keith Radick will lead you in carving four different relief carvings. Use our knives and gouges in this six-week course as you interact with beginning and seasoned carvers. You will create four separate relief pieces while learning the technical aspects of bas-relief. Learn use of stop-cuts, fool the eye with trompe l’ oeil, shallow perspective and exaggeration by undercutting. Learn to handle wood grain, depth perspective and subject positioning.Bring cut-resistant gloves.
