Description

Learn how to safely set up a rappel system and lower yourself down a rockface. The group will hike 1.5 miles to our epic outdoor climbing site at Newton Mountain Park for opportunity to practice these skills. Previous climbing experience recommended. Equipment, instruction, and transportation provided. Each participant must register individually; youth under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.

CANCELLATIONS: If Outdoor Recreation cancels the trip due to inclement weather, lack of participants, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the participants will receive a full REFUND.
REFUNDS: 15 DAYS IN ADVANCE: If a participant cancels the registration 15 days in advance, a full REFUND will be given. LESS THAN 15 DAYS IN ADVANCE: If a participant cancels registration less than 15 days in advance, NO CREDIT OR REFUND will be given. APPEAL: If a participant experiences a serious illness or loss that prevents their attendance that requires special consideration, an appeal can be submitted to the Coordinator of Outdoor Recreation for review.
