GDYT Youth Employment Internship Site Supervisors

Becoming a summer internship site and supervisor requires background clearance, reference checks and training. Youth will can only work once the site supervisor has been cleared, completed the trainings and the worksite has been vetted. Internships are for older youth ages 16-21. Youth are placed at local businesses to work based on career interests. These placements are considered YMCA worksite partners and designate an employee to be an internship supervisor. The students attain their work responsibilities and finalize their work schedule under the guidance of their internship site supervisor.
