Description

On July 24th, the Los Angeles Philharmonic will perform Gustav Holst's "The Planets" at the Hollywood Bowl, taking the audience on a celestial journey through the astrological characters of each planet. Conducted by Leonard Slatkin, the concert also features his son Daniel Slatkin's "Voyager 130" and Ralph Vaughan Williams' "The Lark Ascending" with LA Phil Principal Concertmaster Martin Chalifour. It's an evening designed to evoke wonder and encourage looking up at the Southern California night sky.
