In this creative 8-week after-school class, students will design and craft unique handmade presents for family and friends. Each week, they’ll explore different art forms — from beading and shrinky dinks to paper folding, card-making, and decorative wrapping — learning how to turn simple materials into thoughtful treasures. Students will enjoy a special ceramics week, painting and glazing their own keepsake piece that will be kiln-fired for a beautiful, lasting finish. Along the way, they’ll practice important skills like fine motor coordination, creativity, patience, and attention to detail, while learning how to make gifts that show care and thoughtfulness. By the end of the session, every student will have a collection of handmade creations — each wrapped and ready to give — that truly come from the heart. 💝 A materials fee of $20 is included in the price.
