Indigenous healing remedies of Maryland’s African American and Native American culture
Indigenous herbal medicine healing practices were handed down through America history and are some of the jewels that keep our culture rich. In this presentation, we will learn common native plant remedies that were used by Maryland’s African American enslaved communities and Native American tribes.
