Description
Prerequisites: 15 years old, and Bronze Cross. (Having completed Swim Instructor or Assistant Instructor is not required but would be an asset.)
The Lifesaving Instructor course prepares and certifies instructors to teach the Lifesaving Society's: Swim Patrol, Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, Lifesaving Fitness, Distinction, Basic and Emergency First Aid, and CPR-A, CPR-B and CPR-C. Candidates learn proven teaching methods, planning skills, a variety of development drills and correction techniques. There may be homework assigned in this course.
