Join us for a Community Science Investigation with the Order Odonata! This month we will learn about dragonfly and damselfly species and life cycles as well as community science projects gathering data about them. We will be counting them on a walk and dipping for nymphs in a nearby waterway. Be prepared for a short walk on mostly flat terrain. Designed for adults and mature young people. If you have a smartphone or a camera, bring one to take pictures. Load the iNaturalist app (inaturalist.org/) onto your phone if possible. We will have some devices to use during the session or good old paper and pencil if that is more comfortable.
