Join EPRD for the Active Adults Kayaking course! If you are interested in learning how to kayak and are just getting into the sport or are a seasoned pro and want to enjoy some time on the water with new friends, then this class is a must!

Our guide will help teach you everything you need to know about Kayaks, Paddles, Strokes, Techniques, Rescue and Gear. The instruction that we provide is for everyone of all skill levels, and covers skills needed for recreational paddling. We are not training for the Olympics here, so don't worry, this is a very relaxed and fun atmosphere!
Each participant will receive one-on-one instruction if needed. A paddle on the lake is a must for all participants. We want you to try out your new skills, build your self-confidence, and feel comfortable on the water while having a blast and meeting new friends.

EPRD will be providing the Kayaks, Paddles, and PFD's (Personal Flotation Devices), no personal equipment is necessary to participate.
We will meet promptly at 9:45AM at the EPRD Evergreen Lakehouse at the Boat Rental Station. This class will begin at 10:00AM and will run until 11:30AM. In case of Inclement weather, we will reschedule to a later date. We look forward to seeing you on the water!
