Rock and Roll your way on over to Wulf Recreation Center for Acoustic Afternoons: EPRD's Open Music Jam for Active Adults!

Open jams are the perfect way to bring local musicians and listeners together. These music-based groups are intended to provide a space for older musicians and listeners the chance to fellowship and play music together with no judgement or restrictions.
This FREE drop-in jam session is open to all EPRD members and those who live in and around Evergreen! Whether you’re a musician yourself, are just learning how to play, or just love to listen to live music, this is the program for you!
These sessions will take place on Mondays at 1:00PM in the Bristlecone Lounge at BPRC, starting November 3rd, 2025.
No musical experience or skill level required to join, we’d love to have you any way you arrive! For those that are new to learning an instrument, please bring it with you, as our goal is to help teach the group to play songs and work everyone into the group for maximum fun.
All instruments brought to these open jams must be ACOUSTIC in nature, no electric instruments, amps, or effects are permitted at this time. (Acoustic guitars, banjos, dobro's, violins, violas, flutes, clarinets, pianos, percussion instruments are all VERY welcome!)
Each week, we will work on several new songs together, go over different themes and genres of music, and bring in guest musicians and music professionals to expand our learning and musical interpretation! Instruction and education will be covered at the start of each week’s session, where we will explain all parts of the songs and chords used in the songs for that afternoon.
Light refreshments will be provided by EPRD for each of these sessions, we hope to see you there!
