Tai Chi Chuan is a Taoist internal martial art. It is learned within an ancient system of fluid, rounded, and balanced movements.
Practiced daily, Tai Chi will promote spiritual, emotional, and physical equilibrium.
This class teaches the form developed and made popular by Cheng Man-ch'ing, a short form of Yang-style Tai Chi with 37 movements.
Beginner 2: This class builds upon the knowledge and practices of the Beginner 1 class. The class will build on the form, but plan to finish in the Spring '26 term. The teaching is progressive and depends on building on knowledge and practice from class each week. This class relies on the students having completed the Beginner 1 class.
